Our Church
is based on the Isle of Lewis, the largest of the Outer Hebrides islands which are situated off the north west coast of Scotland…
From October 2021 we will be meeting on Sunday mornings at Barvas & Brue Community Centre on the west side of the island about 11 miles from Stornoway.

‘After this I will return and will rebuild the tabernacle of David, which has fallen down; I will rebuild its ruins, and I will set it up;So that the rest of mankind may seek the Lord, even all the Gentiles who are called by My name, says the Lord who does all these things.’ – Acts 15: 16 – 17
We believe that God is in the business of transformation through restoration. David’s tabernacle represents a place where the presence, power, provision, and glory of God are accessible to all. That is what we desire our church gatherings to be – a place where the kingdom, the power, and the glory of God can be easily and readily accessed by all people. Also, as we go about our daily lives in our communities we carry and live out the message and core values of our house and family, thereby making God’s glory accessible to all whom we encounter. Our vision is to plant local churches wherever we have the opportunity in order to help make the fullness of God’s glory accessible to all who are seeking him. It is our belief that the majority of people who encounter God’s glory and experience his goodness will choose life over death and the blessing over the curse.
Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you” – 1 Corinthians 3: 16
“I will build My church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it” – Matthew 16: 18
All over the world there are assemblies of God’s people who gather together in Jesus’ name, believing and expecting the manifest presence of God to be with them bringing salvation, healing, and deliverance. New Wine Church is one of these assemblies – a gathering of people of all ages who believe and expect to receive! The church should never be static but should always be on the move. Church should always be exciting and a place where there is fresh testimony of God’s goodness and faithfulness!
New Wine Church meetings include times of worship and praise, believing prayer, faith-filled testimonies, and relevant preaching and teaching for the purpose of equipping people to effectively meet and overcome the challenges of living everyday life in the 21st century!
