As our nightly meetings continue we are experiencing more of the presence of the Lord and greater revelation of his purposes for us as we follow his plan – Jesus!

The reality is that the King is coming and yet there are still many people who are ignorant of this fact.  It is our job to make sure that we carry the presence of the Lord out into the world so that everyone has an opportunity to meet him as Saviour and Lord before he returns as the righteous judge of all the earth!

Real Life

When Jesus was born into the world the word became a man and revealed to us the real  life that God intends for each of us to live.  Jesus said that in order to experience this brand new quality and quantity of life we must be born again – or born from above just like him!  In this 3-part series we will be looking at how this life develops within us through four different stages as we come to spiritual maturity.  In Part 1 we will see the necessity of being born of the Holy Spirit, in Part 2 we will look at how essential it is that we are both  filled with and baptised in the Holy Spirit. We will discover that we must be filled with the Holy Spirit in order to live a holy life and we will also see that the secret of a Jesus ministry is being baptised in the Holy Spirit. In Part 3 we will recognise that in order to live this new life we must be led by the Holy Spirit.

Bishop Dennis & Vanna Tanner

Bishop Dennis Tanner – National Overseer of the Church of God in Scotland and interim Pastor of the Elgin Church of God – and his wife Vanna visited us on Sunday 13th December 2009.

There Is A Happy Land

Remember the old hymn, “There is a happy land, far, far, away…”?  It was great to know that there was a happy land but the problem was that it was so far away.  Happiness always seemed to be somewhere out there just beyond our grasp.  But Jesus actually taught that the happy land is closer than you might think.  This series looks at the “Be-happy-attitudes” in Matthew 5 and Pastor Donnie encourages us to hear what the word of God is saying and embrace happiness NOW!

Going Forward

The Lord has given us a vision to see ten thousand people walking in the fullness of God’s plan and purpose for their lives in 2010.

In this series we are encouraged  to leave our history behind and embrace our destiny – recognising that God’s call is always about moving forward and upward!
