Is Healing God’s Will?

Surely He has borne our sicknesses
and carried our pains…
…and by His stripes we are healed.Isaiah 53:  4 – 5
We all need healing – whether it is spiritual, physical, mental, or emotional.  Not many people are confused concerning God’s attitude toward sin or his desire to save all people and deliver them from sin’s power.

However, many people are confused about God’s will regarding sickness. Some believe that sickness is God’s will for them and that He is teaching them something through it.

Others believe that while it is not necessarily God’s will for them to be sick, there are some that He chooses to heal and others that He chooses not to heal.

The Word of God – the Bible – which is the only revelation of God’s will that we have, exposes both of these beliefs to be false.

Sadly, these traditional beliefs are both experience-based, in that God’s Word has been manipulated to conform to people’s experience rather than people experiencing transformation  through faith in God’s Word which clearly states that it is His will to heal – every one, every time!

Deuteronomy chapter 28 gives an account of the blessings which result from obedience (verses 1 – 14), and the curses which result from disobedience (verses 15 – 68).  Listed in the curses are every kind of sickness and disease known to man – it doesn’t make very pleasant reading, especially when you know that you are prone to disobedience!

However, the GOOD NEWS is that according to Galatians 3: 13 – 14

Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.”

We have inherited the blessings of Jesus’ perfect obedience – the curse has been removed with all of its horrendous effects!

When you allow this revelation of Truth to settle in your spirit you can never again receive sickness in your body!  You are not the sick trying to get healed – you are the healed with power and authority to resist sickness in Jesus’ name!  Obviously, we are not denying the existence of sickness, but we are denying sickness the right to exist in our bodies.

Our desire is to help you receive and walk in the fullness of your inheritance in Christ Jesus – all YOU have to do is

If you have never repented of your sin and received God’s forgiveness and you would like to be reconciled to God and live in relationship with Him, then please pray this prayer:

Heavenly Father, I come to you in Jesus’ name and I repent from all sin in my life.  I realise that repentance is not just saying I am sorry, but that I desire to change.  Please forgive me for living my life apart from you and following my own desires instead of seeking your will for my life.  I believe that Jesus paid the penalty for my sin on the Cross – that he died and rose again – so that I could be saved and reconciled to you.  I believe your word that says whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved, and so I call upon you now and I thank you that you hear me and that you have answered my prayer.  I leave my past behind and embrace the future that you have planned for my life.  In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Here is a simple prayer and faith confession to help you live in the fullness of the provision of Divine health:

Father, I thank you that every organ, every system, and every cell of my body is functioning according to your perfect design.  I thank you that every organ, every system, and every cell of my body is functioning at optimum performance for long life and length of days.  In Jesus’ name, Amen!

Be superabundantly blessed as you walk in the fullness of salvation as a living testimony to the faithfulness of your heavenly Father!
