EileanSiarFoodbankLogoEilean Siar Foodbank opened in September 2013 and is a partnership between New Wine Church and the Trussell Trust.  We are also very grateful for the help we  receive from other local churches, agencies, and businesses, and the generosity of fellow islanders who donate the food that is distributed to those in need.

The Foodbank is an extension of an emergency food delivery service that the church had been providing across the islands for the previous three years in response to referrals from various agencies.  The opening of the Foodbank enables us to reach and assist a wider group of  people who are experiencing a food crisis with a more streamlined service.

The Foodbank could not operate without our faithful volunteers and so we are continually recruiting volunteer staff and are always open to suggestions re fundraising, etc.
