Let the Weak Speak
Part 7 – Enoch – Walking the Walk (2)
IT IS TIME to unlock our potential! Remember – all change in the kingdom is EXCHANGE – and it is always new for old! God doesn’t ask for our strength but our weakness so that his supernatural strength can be seen in us!
Remember – God’s plan is for us to be signs and wonders and to be the most exciting thing that is going on wherever we are! IT IS TIME for multiplication!
Isaiah 8: 18
18 Here am I and the children whom the LORD has given me!
We are for signs and wonders in Israel
From the LORD of hosts,
Who dwells in Mount Zion.
Our foundation scripture for this series!
Joel 3: 9 – 10
9 Proclaim this among the nations:
“Prepare for war!
Wake up the mighty men,
Let all the men of war draw near,
Let them come up.
10 Beat your plowshares into swords
And your pruning hooks into spears;
Let the weak say, ‘I am strong.’”
Remember – we are winners in the war of words when we enforce the victory that is already ours over a defeated enemy that is too proud to acknowledge that he has been defeated! We must build a force field of faith – of God’s word – around our minds because the only access that our adversary has into our lives is through deception and the only power he has is the power of a persuasive argument.
IT IS TIME TO LET THE WEAK SPEAK! IT IS TIME FOR THE WEAK TO SAY, “I AM STRONG!”
What kind of relationship with God do you want? You can walk as close to him as you choose! You can be more than an asker, and even more than a seeker – you can be a knocker who opens the door to heaven and prepares the way for the Lord’s return! You can walk with him in a place where the cry of your heart is, “Even so come, Lord Jesus!”
Some folks are content with the blessings that are poured out of the windows of heaven – but there is another level that opens the door for the Lord himself to step down from his throne into the earth for the final showdown!
Thank God that we can be everything that God designed us to be here on earth – that we can have successful ministries and kingdom businesses and strong and happy families but we must never allow these things to cloud and get in the way of the bigger picture! The hope of the true church has always been the imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ to establish his kingdom! We must guard against a subtle shift that moves us from our spirit to our soul and hopes for a delay in his return so that our flesh can be satisfied with the empty and temporary treasures and pleasures of this present world! We must be diligent to maintain the cry and strong desire of every born again spirit, “Even so come, Lord Jesus!”
Remember – Jesus said that we should watch and pray so that we will not enter into temptation because although our spirit is willing our flesh is weak! If we walk in the Spirit – which is how we walk with God – we will not fulfil the lusts of the flesh. Simply put we will not put the desires of our flesh – the desire to indulge, the desire to acquire, and the desire to impress – before our desire to be where the Lord is and to be involved in what he is doing!
Joel 3: 9 – 10

Listen!
Mark 13: 35 – 37
35 Watch therefore, for you do not know when the master of the house is coming—in the evening, at midnight, at the crowing of the rooster, or in the morning— 36 lest, coming suddenly, he find you sleeping. 37 And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch!”
I believe that we should live out the fullness of our days in health and strength and that it is not unreasonable to expect a life span of 120 years if the LORD tarries but let it never be in my heart that I don’t want the LORD to return until my 120 years are completed!
LET THE WEAK SAY, “I AM STRONG!”
I may have just turned 50 and you may be a lot younger or even a lot older but let our heart cry always be, “Even so come, Lord Jesus!”
LET THE WEAK SAY, “I AM STRONG!”
You may be just setting out on life with plans for a career, etc. but let your heart cry be, “Even so come, Lord Jesus!”
LET THE WEAK SAY, “I AM STRONG!”
You may be preparing for marriage and looking forward to raising a family of your own but let your heart cry be, “Even so come, Lord Jesus!”
LET THE WEAK SAY, “I AM STRONG!”
You are possibly getting ready to launch a new business that you are believing is going to be successful but let your heart cry always be, “Even so come, Lord Jesus!”
LET THE WEAK SAY, “I AM STRONG!”
You may have been building a business for several years and now the business is just starting to bring you prosperity after years of sacrifice but let your heart cry be, “Even so come, Lord Jesus!”
LET THE WEAK SAY, “I AM STRONG!”
You may be launching a new ministry or outreach but let your heart cry always be, “Even so come, Lord Jesus!”
LET THE WEAK SAY, “I AM STRONG!”
You may have just moved into your dream home or finally purchased your dream car but let your heart cry always be, “Even so come, Lord Jesus!”
LET THE WEAK SAY, “I AM STRONG!”
Some members of your family may still be stubbornly refusing to accept the free offer of salvation but let your heart cry always be, “Even so come, Lord Jesus!”
LET THE WEAK SAY, “I AM STRONG!”
Revelation 22: 10 – 21
10 And he says unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand. 11 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. 12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. 13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. 14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. 15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loves and makes a lie. 16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. 17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that hears say, Come. And let him that is thirsty come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. 18 For I testify unto every man that hears the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. 20 He which testifies these things says, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. 21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
Even so come, Lord Jesus! That was John’s response and that needs to be our response! The grace – the supernatural strength – of our Lord Jesus Christ is with us to enable us to overcome the weakness of our flesh!
2 Corinthians 5: 6 – 8
6 So we are always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord. 7 For we walk by faith, not by sight. 8 We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.
We don’t want to die before our time – we want him to come and take us! There is a big difference!
We don’t want to submit to death because death is still the enemy!
1 Corinthians 15: 26
26 The last enemy that will be destroyed is death.
Death has been defeated but it has not yet been destroyed! Remember – our adversary has not yet acknowledged his defeat!
1 Corinthians 15: 53 – 55
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
Don’t let anything come between you and your personal walk with God! It is time for the church to press in to God until we get so close that we are not because God has taken us! This is not escapism and the despairing cry of the defeated but the cry of faith that is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things unseen! It is the ultimate victory cry!
1 Peter 1: 3 – 6
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, 5 who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
6 In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, 7 that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ, 8 whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, 9 receiving the end of your faith—the salvation of your souls.
The bigger the church we are the bigger the hole we will leave when we go; the more successful the kingdom business we built the more it will be noticed that we’ve gone; the more of a sign and wonder that we are the more people will scratch their heads and wonder at our disappearance; the more excited and exciting we are the more of a vacuum will be left when we are no longer there.
Enoch didn’t allow his genetic weakness – his inherited sin – to defeat him, but instead went after the LORD with all of his heart so that God’s strength enabled him to overcome every manifestation of that weakness. Enoch walked the walk and so he talked the talk!
There is nothing that we have inherited – no circumstance of our birth or our background – that can limit us or hold us back if we simply choose to walk with God!
1 Thessalonians 4: 9 – 18
9 But concerning brotherly love you have no need that I should write to you, for you yourselves are taught by God to love one another; 10 … we urge you, brethren, that you increase more and more; 11 that you also aspire to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you, 12 that you may walk properly toward those who are outside, and that you may lack nothing. 13 But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. 15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.
IT IS TIME TO LET THE WEAK SPEAK! LET THE WEAK SAY, “I AM STRONG!”
By faith Enoch walked with God, and then he was gone because God took him! By faith we too can walk with God and one day we will be gone because God has taken us! Remember – faith works – it is energised, activated, expressed, and put to work through love – the response of our love to the revelation of God’s love for us!
1 John 3: 1 – 3
1 Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. 2 Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. 3 And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.
“Even so come, Lord Jesus!”
IT IS TIME TO LET THE WEAK SPEAK! LET THE WEAK SAY, “I AM STRONG!”
