But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired.
Isaiah 40: 31
(Amplified Bible)
We believe that ministry is a verb and not a noun and so we are committed to serving any and all in any way that folks will allow us. The goal of Donnie Stewart Ministries is to bring new hope to the lives of those who the word of God says are “without God and without hope in this world” (Ephesians 2: 12).
The hope that the Good News of Jesus Christ and the kingdom of God brings never disappoints us because it comes with the revelation of God’s love for us and his willingness to accept us into his family as sons and daughters. The realisation that we have been reconciled with God and the reality of the Holy Spirit’s presence in our lives releases a new strength within us that enables us to do what we could never have done on our own.
The strength that comes by the power of the Holy Spirit – Christ in us, the hope of glory – empowers us to live a new life – supernaturally naturally and naturally supernaturally.
It is an awful thing to have no hope as without hope there is nothing to attach your faith to and so it is impossible to live the life that God has planned and destined for you which can only be lived one way – by faith.
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” (Jeremiah 29: 11)

Because He has anointed Me
To preach the gospel to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives
And recovery of sight to the blind,
To set at liberty those who are oppressed;
19 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD’s favour.” Luke 4: 18 – 19 Jesus said he was anointed to preach good news to the poor. Surely good news to a poor person is that his standard of living is about to be raised! Jesus went on to explain the process required to bring about this elevation. First of all the broken heart must be healed. A broken heart is the result of a broken relationship, and so every one of us was born with a broken heart because sin had destroyed our relationship with our heavenly Father. Jesus said that we must be born again because we were born wrong the first time around. Our spiritual inheritance had been lost to us but it is restored when we are born again of the Spirit. Next, is deliverance for the captives and recovery of sight for the blind. When we are released from our prison of guilt, shame, condemnation, fear, inferiority, insecurity, etc our eyes are opened to a whole new life that we didn’t know existed and we see clearly what was holding us back as vision is restored for the future that is filled with hope and possibility. Then, we are set free from all feelings of oppression and of being the downtrodden underdogs who could never amount to anything, or be expected to achieve anything of any value or importance. 26 For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. 27 But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; 28 and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, 29 that no flesh should glory in His presence. 30 But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption— 31 that, as it is written, “He who glories, let him glory in the LORD.” (1 Corinthians 1: 26 – 31) Lastly, we are brought to the place where we can begin to experience the fullness of the LORD’s favour in our lives – where his free favours profusely abound to the point of extravagant excess. If we simply believe in his goodness and his faithfulness then all of the limits are off and our history – no matter how dismal it may have been – is no longer a hindrance to our destiny!

God richly bless you.We need all these for the now as we await the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
